Heason, Mary (1783-1837)

Died at Barkstone, May 11, 1837, aged fifty-four, Mary Heason.  She was one of the first fruits of P. Methodism in this part of the Lord’s vineyard.  She opened her house for preaching, which was continued there a number of years, until a chapel was built.  She entertained the preachers, and esteemed it an honour to minister to their wants.

Her affliction was protracted.  But she had faith in God; and finished her course in peace, having been a member of our society about twenty years.
