Wedgewood connection
Born in Lumley Thicks in 1856, died in Morecambe in 1923. Married to Mary Banks who was related to Josiah Wedgewood, sort off.
Ralph Shields wrote many articles in a local Morecambe newspaper and wrote a small book called ‘The Tourist’s Guide from Morecambe to Keswick—-Romantic Chara-a-Bancing’
