1883 Flagg Primitive Methodist Chapel with 1833 Sunday school on the right, as it appeared in 1999

Attached to the right of the chapel is the Sunday School building dated 1833. Was this the original chapel? Today it is used as a nursery school.

Services in the chapel continue today but alternate with the chapel at Monyash.

Editor’s note (CH 04/2020)

The 1884 Primitive Methodist magazine contains a note of the opening of  a new Primitive Methodist chapel at Flagg to replace the old one which had become “inconvenient and unsafe”
