Jones, William (abt1828-1899)

Transcription of Obituary In the Christian Messenger

MR. WILLIAM JONES, farmer, Crasswall, in the Cwm Circuit, was born in the parish of Clodock, about the year 1828. Very little is known of his early life, but for the space of 30 years he was a consistent member of our church at Cwm. A regular attendant at the means of grace, and very hospitable to God’s servants, he was a consistent, pious, upright man. His last illness was brief and severe, but he was perfectly resigned to the Divine Will. He died on Sunday, June 28th, 1899, and his death was improved in our Cwm chapel by Mr. J. Kedward, of Fair Oak. The memory of the just is blessed.

A. STABLER.
