In the notes with his photograph, Keith Guyler gives the dates of founding the Westhall Primitive Methodist chapel as 1866 and 1874. Others, such as the Suffolk Heritage website give it as opening in 1878.
They agree that the chapel was rebuilt in 1898.
The chapel is now closed and in uyse as a house - The Old Methodist Chapel
