The 1878 Primitive Methodist magazine contains a note of the opening of a new, iron Primitive Methodist chapel in Blackfriars Street, Stamford, although it tells us nothing more

The 1886 and 1901 Ordnance Survey maps show a Primitive Methodist chapel on the south side of Blackfriars Street towards the eastern end. It is an open space by the 1930 map.
