Rollesby Primitive Methodist chapel

In the 1840 Primitive Methodist magazine, Richard Howchin tells us that a small chapel had been built in Rollesby, in the Yarmouth circuit, “about eight  years since we gained an establishment in this place.  Mr Howchin preached the opening sermon on July 9th 1837.  “The seats are all let and the cause is rising””.

The Primitive Methodist chapel in Rollesby shown in Keith Guyler’s photograph, was known as Ebenezer, and opened in 1866.

It is not clear from Keith Guyler’s photograph in 1988 whether it is still in use.  On Google Street View in 2012 it has been converted into a house.
