As the ashlar tablet on the chapel confirms, Little Hale Primitive Methodist chapel dates from 1837. It was altered in the late 19th century.

It is still in operation in 2015.

    Ref. MLI89942: There are other photos of this PM Chapel, yet main title states Methodist Chapel. However, further in the text for the photos it mentions the stone plaque Primitive Methodist.

    The plaque now has further erosion, e.g., the first word Primitive. Photos of it included with building.
