Kirkstead Primitive Methodist chapel

1854 Kirkstead Primitive Methodist chapel
Keith Guyler 1995

Kirkstead is south east of Coningsby. Kirkstead Primitive Methodist chapel in Mill Lane dates from 1834.

The chapel served until 1952 and was then converted into a cottage. By the time of Keith Guyler’s photograph in 1995 it was boarded up.

Keith Guyler’s notes include the phrase ‘Hear and your souls shall live’ although it is not clear what the context is. Can anyone explain?
