Horseheath is west of Haverhill. Horseheath Primitive Methodist chapel was opened in 1860 and closed in 1996.  It is now a house – The Old Chapel

The story of the chapel is set out in the Horseheath village archive.  It includes the little gem that the stable next to the chapel was converted into a thatched cottage because worshippers complained about the smell.
