Keith Guyler’s notes accompanying his photograph do not give any detail about High Garrett Primitive Methodist chapel such as opening or closing dates.

All he says is that it was used for storage in 1996 and is “now cottage” – although I’m not sure when now is.

That said, the 1882 Primitive Methodist magazine contains a note about a new Primitive Methodist chapel at High Garrett in the Halstead station. It was built and provided for the Primitive Methodist Connexion by  a lady belonging to the Unitarian community and is described as Beautiful and commodious. Does that description accord with the tin chapel in the picture?
