Edgton Primitive Methodist Chapel, Shropshire

The Primitive Methodist magazine for 1836 contains an account by Edward Williams of the opening of Edgton Primitive Methodist Chapel, Shropshire in the Bishop’s Castle circuit.  Thomas Morgan and John Graham were the preachers at the ceremonies on Sunday September 28th 1834.

There is a note that says that the society was “given ground by a respectable Edgton man who heard Hugh Bourne preach 24th Dec 1833 at Alston”
