Cawston Primitive Methodist chapel was opened in 1861 and extended in 1954. Previously they used a wooden building in Brandiston Road.
There is more information on the Cawston Parish website.
THe chapel was still in use at the time of Keith Guyler’s photograph, but was made available for auction in March 2014 with a guide price of £60-£80,000. It had planning permission for conversion to a two bedroomed house.

Thanks for the correction Steve. I’ve amended this page – and added a page on Cawston Wesleyan Reform chapel on our partner My Wesleyan Methodists community site.
The grid reference for Cawston P.M. Chapel is incorrect – but it is correct for the Wesleyan chapel further north. The P.M.’s grid ref is TG 1358 2365.
