The present building may have been erected in 1928. It was refurbished in 1991 and in July 2015 is still open for worship.

The back half of the building was standing on the 1923 OS map. It appears they built this first, perhaps with a view to extending to the front. The western outline on the 1930s OS map with the new section is exactly the same so that is evidence to suggest this theory is true.
